Jessica Yanyun Li

Lead Ambassador IYC | USA

My experiences working with youth and young adults effectively create bonding and trust, maintain cohesion, strengthen communication, and streamline operations with an intergenerational approach. For example, I co-facilitated a city-wide youth empowerment event in partnership with program coordinators from the government department. I have helped to organize and instruct leadership training, attended meetings, and guided students to meet officials at City Hall.

I am the Co-Chair of the World Food Forum Youth Action Track Focal Points Group. I am Chair of Climate Reality Project Bay Area Chapter’s Young Adults Team and a member of the City’s Heat and Air Quality Resilience Project, working specifically in community response to extreme heat temperature. I am also a member of YOUNGO, which is the children and youth constituency of UNFCCC, Ambassador for UNITE 2030 and Lead of Cohort 7 Youth Delegate Program, Lead Ambassador for International Youth Conference, and Chief of Staff of the UNA-USA National Intergenerational Model United Nations. As the Founder of the Climate Education Service Project, I aim to incorporate climate education and literacy while championing community response and preparedness initiatives.
